W. Bruce Cameron

W. Bruce Cameron is an American author and columnist perhaps best known for his work on A Dog’s Purpose which was later made into a major motion picture. Even as a young man growing up, Cameron always knew he wanted to be a writer. He sold his first story to the Kansas City Star when he was just sixteen and continued to work towards a career in writing after that. His major breakout was writing a column called “8 Simple Rules for Dating My Daughter” which was later turned into an actual book and then it became a major television show starring the late John Ritter.
