Tamar Myers
Tamar Myers is a Congan-born American author of mystery novels. She writes the Pennsylvania Dutch Mysteries, Den of Antiquity Mysteries and Belgian Congo Mysteries. Tamar is the daughter of missionaries to a headhunter tribe that drank out of human skulls. After Congo got its independence from Belgium, her family fled, only to return shortly afterward. Finally, after living through years of civil wars, Tamar’s family moved to the United States when she was 16. When she got there, she couldn’t use a phone, didn’t know what a stoplight was or use a vending machine. Luckily for her, she soon met her future husband on the first day in high school. Tamar Myers lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband, Jeffrey, and several dogs and cats.
