Nickolas Butler
Nickolas Butler is an American author of literary fiction novels. He grew up in Wisconsin, and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Iowa Writer’s Workshop. His work has appeared many publications, including Ploughshares, The Christian Science Monitor, The Kenyon Review Online, Narrative, The Progressive, and others. Nickolas has worked as a meatpacker, a Burger King maintenance man, a liquor store clerk, a coffee roaster, an office manager, an author escort, an inn-keeper, and other odd jobs. He is married with two children and lives on 16 acres of lands in rural Wisconsin.
