Maile Meloy is an American author of fantasy, adventure and literary fiction novels. She has had short stories published in The New Yorker and The Paris Review. She won the Rosenthal Foundation Award and the John C. Zacharis Award for her collection Half in Love. Maile has also won the Aga Khan Prize for Fiction and received a Guggenheim Fellowship. Originally from Montana, she now resides in California.
