Jackie Collins

Jackie Collins is an English novelist who writes steamy romance novels. She is the sister of actress Joan Collins. Jackie herself has acted in B-movies before she started writing. Her series include the Hollywood series, the Santangelo novels and the Madison Castelli series. Jackie Collins made her literary debut in 1968 with The World is Full of Married Men, which classic romance novelist Barbara Cartland referred to as “nasty, filthy and disgusting,” and it was subsequently banned in Australia and South Africa. However, this actually boosted its sales in the USA and United Kingdom.
