Ismée Amiel Williams

Ismée Amiel Williams is an author of YA contemporary novels. Other than being a novelist, Ismée also practices pediatric cardiology. She trained and practiced at New York’s Columbia University Medical Center for 15 years. As of this writing, she practices at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx. Ismée decided to become a writer when she was pregnant and picked up a YA novel. She loved it so much that she wanted to do the same thing; write something that a reader would fall in love with. Ismée is of Cuban descent, and uses Spanish phrases in her novels. Ismée lives in New York City with her husband, three daughters and dog. Ismée Amiel Williams made her debut as a novelist in 2017 with the novel Water in May.
