Horst Christian

Horst Christian is the author of the Journey to America series and the Growing Up Under the Third Reich series. Christian was born in Berlin, Germany in the year 1930. He was a lover of reading and writing from a young age, but he was entered into a subdivision of the Hitler Youth at the age of 10, which was mandatory in the Berlin school system at the time. He wrote for Hitler Youth periodicals at the time before being drafted into the war to help fight the Soviets. After the war, Christian immigrated to America where he eventually became a U.S. Citizen and still resides here today. Horst lives in Idaho with his wife, Jennifer.
