George Bellairs
George Bellairs (1902-1982) was an English author of crime fiction novels. He wrote the Thomas Littlejohn series. Bellairs is the pen name of Harold Blundell, who also worked as a bank manager. He wrote over 50 novels, sometimes writing as Hilary Landon. In his retirement, Bellairs settled to the Isle of Man.
George Bellairs made his debut as a published novelist in 1941 with the novel Littlejohn on Leave. His final published work was in 1980, which was entitled An Old Man Dies. Below is a list of George Bellairs’ books in order of when they were first released:
