Emily Nussbaum

Emily Nussbaum is a professional television critic who released her first book, I Like to Watch: Arguing My Way Through the TV Revolution in 2019. She is a very successful television critic and she won the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Criticism. Nussbaum lives in Brooklyn with her husband Clive Thompson, a journalist, and their children. Nussbaum has also worked as a writer and editor at New York Magazine where she first made her name by creating the notorious charticle The Approval Matrix which aimed to tell readers which parts of lowbrow and highbrow culture were brilliant and which ones were despicable.
