Emilie Richards is an American author of romance and mystery novels. Before she became a novelist, Emilie worked as a family counselor, therefore her novels explore complex social issues and characterizations. She gives many of her characters unique quirks to help make them interesting. She writes the Ministry is Murder, Shenandoah Album and MacDonald Sisters series. She has three sons and an adopted daughter from India with her husband, Michael. Emilie Richards made her debut as an author with The Unmasking, published in 1985.
