Daniel Kalla

Daniel Kalla is a Canadian author out of Vancouver. He is best known as the author of the Shanghai trilogy of novels. He is also the author of the Dr. Noah Haldane series which began with Pandemic. When Kalla is not writing he works as an Emergency Room Physician in a major teaching hospital. Daniel attended the University of British Columbia where he earned his B.Sc. in mathematics and his MD. He now works at that same university as a clinical associate professor. He is also the department head of a major urban ER. The Adler Family trilogy has since been optioned for feature films.
