Dan Hampton
Dan Hampton is an American author of military fiction novels and non-fiction books. Dan is a retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Colonel, having flown more than 150 missions over 20 years. In the service, he received four Distinguished Flying Crosses with Valor, a Purple Heart, eight Air Medals with Valor, five Meritorious Service Medals, and more. He is a graduate of the USAF Fighter Weapons School, USN Top Gun School, and USAF Special Operations School. Having received several awards for his tactical innovation, Hampton pioneered now-standard tactics in air combat, and was named his squadron’s Instructor Pilot of the Year six times. Hampton served on the Air Combat Command staff in Langley, Virginia, during the 1999 Kosovo War and was behind the NATO campaign that destroyed the Yugoslav army’s air defenses around Sarajevo.
Dan Hampton made his debut as a published author in 2012 with the non-fiction book Viper Pilot. He debuted as a novelist in 2013 with the novel The Mercenary. Below is a list of Dan Hampton’s books in order of when they were originally released:
