Chris McDonald

Chris McDonald is an author of crime thriller and mystery novels. He writes the DI Erika Piper series and the lighter Stonebridge Mysteries series. Aside from his writing, Chris is also a full-time teacher, husband and father. He also makes regular appearances on The Blood Brothers Podcast. Chris enjoys 5-a-side football, heavy metal, and dogs. He is originally from Northern Ireland, and lived in Lancaster and London, before settling in Manchester, England. Chris McDonald made his debut as a novelist in 2020 with the novel A Wash of Black, introducing readers to DI Erika Piper.
