Alastair Reynolds

Alastair Reynolds is a British author of science fiction novels. He writes the Revelation Space series. Alastair has a Ph.D. in Astronomy, and worked as an astrophysicist for the European Space Agency. In the early ’90s, he began getting his SF stories published in Interzone, and eventually gave up his work in science in order to write full-time. Alastair enjoys running, hill-walking, birdwatching, horseriding, playing guitar, and model-making. He lives in Wales with his wife. Alastair Reynolds made his debut as a novelist in 2000 with the novel Revelation Space.
